Abstract

Revision of the Argentine Zygophyllaceae?. After a detailed examination of the Argentine Zygophyllaceae, the authors determine the tribes on the basis of the characteristics of the pollen grains; they give practical keys to identify the 15 species, 14 native and 1 adventurous. First citation of Zygophyllum Fabago L.; make Porlieria microphylla (Ball.) comb. nov. as a new unit and give the probable distribution areas of the Genera in Argentina.

?Revision der Argentinischen Zygophyllazeen?. Nach eingehender Untersuchung der argentinischen Zygophyllazeen, stellen die Verfasser die Tribus auf Grund der Merkmale der Pollenkörner fest; sie geben praktische Schlüssel zur Bestimmung der 15 Spezies, 14 einheimischer un 1 adventiver. Zitieren erstmalig Zygophyllum Fabago L.; stellen Porlieria microphylla (Ball.) comb. nov. als neue Einheit auf und geben die wahrscheinlichen Verbreitungsgebiete der Genera in Argentinien.

Horacio Raúl Descole (1910 - 1984) fue un farmacéutico, y naturalista argentino, y rector de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán.

C. A. O'Donell, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán

Carlos Alberto O’Donell (1912-1957). Se graduó con diploma de honor en Farmacia en la Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. en 1937.

Entre artículos de Anatomía vegetal y de Farmacia Botánica, publicó más de treinta notas científicas, con especial énfasis en las convolvuláceas.

A. Lourteig, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán

Alicia Lourteig (1913 – 2003) fue una botánica argentina, especialista mundial de las oxalidáceas. Trabajó intensamente en herbarios históricos como los de Aimé Bonpland (1773-1858), José Celestino Mutis (1731-1808) y de Charles Plumier (1646-1704). Además realizó misiones exploratorias en América del Sur, estudios de la flora de las Tierras Australes y Antárticas Francesas (donde se honró su nombre al imponérselo a lagos de las islas Kerguelen).
