Abstract

Together with Dr. Miguel Lillo in the years 1889-1923, and the temperatures and amounts of rainfall measured by him, the index numbers given by C. Warren Thornthwaite are used in this work to investigate the relationship between climate, vegetation and soil in the surroundings of the city of Tucumán. It is a geobotanical study with a clear edaphic and bioclimatological trend.
