Abstract

Further Studies in Lycium?. The author describes a new species: Lycium fimbriatum, after having studied the material from northwestern Argentina. In this publication it illustrates the floral characters and establishes a comparative table with other species of the genus: L. Comberi C. L. Hitchcoc., L. Vergarae Phil., L. Chilense Bert. and L. ciliatum Schlecht.

Charles Leo Hitchcock (1902 - 1986) fue un zoólogo y botánico estadounidense. Descubrió decenas de especies de plantas y sus trabajos son citados ampliamente. Un salón de la Universidad de Washington lleva su nombre.
