El autor amplía su trabajo anterior ?Remarkable Spiral Arrangement of fibrils in the Cell Walls of ?Nerine Fothergilli??, aparecido en esta misma Revista, tomo V (1940), 213-127. Describe e ilustra otras observaciones realizadas mediante el uso de luz polarizada sobre la notable disposición espiralada de las fibrillas que forman las paredes celulares de esa planta.
