Andrada, A. R.; M. E. Lozzia; M. E. Cristóbal. 2010. “Cytogenetics and rehabilitation of the Calceolaria lilloi Descole & Borsini (Calceolariaceae)”. Lilloa 47 (1-2). The genus Calceolaria is exclusive of America and it has Neotropical distribution mainly. Cytological studies were carried out, and also the floral and seminal morphology in C. lilloi Descole & Borsini was studied. Some authors established that C. lilloi is synonymous with C. chelidonioides Khunt which was based on taxonomic studies. Both results, the cytological and morphological ones allowed the rehabilitation of the taxon C. lilloi, independent of C. chelidonioides.
