Some interesting plant species of the Uruguayan Flora

Abstract

The author deals with some species of the families Sphagnaceae, Mayacaeae, Xyridaceae, Leguminosae and Euphorbiaceae, which are cited for the first time for the territory of the Republic of Uruguay, and amplifies their geographical distribution. He locates the stations of Sphagnum in a sketch of the country and illustrates the entities of Xyris jupicai var. humilis and Eriocaulum modestum.
