Abstract

Catalog of Argentine mosses (*)

This catalog includes the species of mosses of the Argentine flora, cited by the bibliography that was possible to consult, scarce indeed for this part of the cryptogams, perhaps because this specialty was not cultivated in the country. The material that was used as the basis of study includes the bryological collections of the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences, which include the duplicates donated by the Swedish Expeditions of the years 1901-03 and 1907-09, and the mosses collected by the author.
