The Argentine species of the genera Funastrum and Philibertia (Asclepiadaceae)

Abstract

The author studies the Argentine species of these two genera. He found three species of the genus Funastrum in the country. Philibertia has five species and four varietes. He describes Philibertia schreiteri nov. sp. and Philibertia gilliesii H. et A. var. parvicoronata Meyer nov. var., and makes the two new combinations: Philibertia gilliesii H. et A. var. gracilis (D. Don) Meyer and Philibertia gilliesii H. et A. var. grandiflora (Hook.) Meyer.
