Phytophenological registry of the total visible activity
Keywords:
Phenology, plants, phytophenologyAbstract
The author presents a method of phenologic observation, the purpose of which is to register the development of the phenological processes in all the plant organs at the same time. These observations are registered for very short time periods, in which each organ was visible at the moment of observation and for which a system of registration has been worked out. The used symbols are rectangles on whose sides there are the conventional symbols, periods, dashes, and undulated dashes. The activity of the organs is measured in five intensities, each one representing a fifth, or 20 % of the highest activity. The registry of the whole process of the activity of all the plant organs together will serve as material for diverse studies, especially those of bioclimatic nature.
