Micromycetes on bark and/or wood of Podocarpus parlatorei Pilg. from Argentina

Abstract

Ten species of Hyphomycetes on bark and /or wood of Podocarpus parlatorei are described and illustrated. A new species is proposed: Kostermansinda intermedia. Chaetopsina splendida, Morrisographium persicae, M. ulmi, and Endophragmia atra, are recorded for the first time from Argentina. The geographical distribution of Dictyosporium elegans, Dendryphiopsis atra, Sporidesmium adscendens, Xenosporium berkeleyi, Helicosporium aureum, is enlarged within the country. P. parlatorei is new substrate for all the collected species.
