Abstract

The authors study the systematic status, geographic range and ethoecological data of Neotropical Mammals (Marsupialia and Rodentia) and describe a new genus, Cabreramys, (Cricetidae). Two new localities in the Province of Buenos Aires (Pergamino and Tandil) for Monodelphis dimidiata (Wagner, 1847) are documented, thus amplifying the known distribution and habitat.
