Structural changes in Bufo arenarum eggs during fertilization

Abstract

The morphological organization of the mature oocyte of the toad Bute arenarum is described. Some aspects of the activation process, such as the pellicular reaction, the emission of the second polar body, the rotation of orientation and the rotation of fertilization were studied and some observations on sperm penetration were made.
