Abstract

The presence of Pleuroxus caca Harding in mountain ponds is reported. This species is new for Argentine Cladoceran fauna. Females cimens of this are redescribed, including the detailed morphology of valves, head shield trunk limbs. The male hither to unknouwn is also described.
