?On the presence of uraniferous composits in Cerro Quico, Sierra de Aconquija, Tucumán, Argentine Republic?. Cerro Quico is composed geologically by a metamorphic complex in contact with an adamellite batholitic body, named the San Ignacio batholith. Thick sedimentary beds, the so called Grupo Aconquija, of upper Tertiary age, are layering on the low foothill slopes of that region. Local hydrothermal solutions invading the metamorphic complex gave origin to a different mineralogical composition and textural replacement. On the other hand, the presence of powellite and uraniferous traces, according to earlier studies, is here for the first time mentioned.
