Abstract

La Fuente, Guayapa, groundwater discharge area of the Antinaco Valley, Los Colorados?. Guayapa is located 13 km west of Patquía, Independencia Department of La Rioja province (Argentina) and 3,000 m from Provincial Route N° 26. The place is well known for a plantation of date palms. This work deals with a reduced area of the groundwater discharge front of the Antinaco-Los Colorados valley. This contribution means making known the hydrogeological conditions of the place, as well as the characteristics of the waters coming from a battery of wells located on the wings of an anticline.
