Revisión bioestratigráfica del techo de Formación San Juan (Ordovícico Inferior), en la sección del Monumento a Buenaventura Luna, Precordillera Central, San Juan

Abstract

“Biostratigraphic review of the uppermost San Juan Formation at Buenaventura Luna Monument section, Central Precordillera, San Juan”. A biostratigraphical review of the upper levels of the San Juan Formation at the Buenaventura Luna section is presented here. The Oepikodus evae Zone is recorded in contrast with the previous data. The conodont association is composed by: Bergstroemognathus extensus , Diaphorodus sp ., Drepanoistodus sp ., Juanognathus jaanussoni , Juanognathus variabilis , Oelondodus elongatus, Oepikodus evae , Paroistodus parallelus, Periodon flabellum , Protopanderodus leonardii, Reutterodus andinus , Scolopodus krummi , Scolopodus rex, Tropodus comptus and Tropodus sweeti .
