Abstract

The author systematically examines the American species of the genus Merremia within the limits established by Hallier. He describes a new variety, M. disecta var. chacoensis, and establishes the new combinations M. flagellaris, M. aurea, M. macrocalyx, M. platyphylla, M. discoidesperma and M. disecta var. adentata.
