Carlos A. O'Donnel, ConvolvulaceaeAbstract
At the time of his death, Carlos A. O'Donnell (1912-1954) was one of the most outstanding botanists of our institution and the main organizer of its Department of Botany, to which he had been linked since its creation. His death surprised him when he was working on a series of works, all related to the American and, especially, Argentine Convolvulaceae. In order to publicize these investigations, this Directorate thought it appropriate to form a commission ?made up of Teodoro Meyer, Antonio Krapovickas and Ramón E. de la Sota? to review all these manuscripts and their subsequent preparation for publication. This is how this volume appears dedicated entirely to O'Donell's posthumous works, as a tribute to his memory.
