Notes on some exotic plants adventitious or naturalized in Argentina

Abstract

The following additions to the list of adventitious Phanerogams in Argentina are given: Iris pseudacorus (Parana Delta); Montia perfoliata (lake Nahuel Huapi region); Rosa sicula (Andes foothills, Mendoza, Chubut); Tamarix gallica (on watercourses, Rio Negro and Mendoza); Lamium purpurerum (in garden, east La Pampa) and Knautia arvensis (Nahuel Huapi). The naturalisation of Tamarix gallica along the rio Colorado in northern Patagonia is described in detail.
