Abstract

The author discusses and describes six new or doubtful species of the large and typically Southamerican genus Adesmia (Leguminosae). The novelties are: Adesmia nanolignea n. sp., from the high Andes in La Rioja (Argentina) and A. bonariensis n. sp., from Buenos Aires. Further notes and descriptions are given for: A. coluteoides, A. longipes, A. smithiae and A. securigerifolia.
