Geographic distribution of some palms of Uruguay

Abstract

The authors discuss the species: Butia yatay, B. capitata and Trithrinax campestris. They give illustrations of the fruits and seeds of the species of Butia, in order to show their differences, also of the examined palms, and besides locate them in a sketch of the territory of the Republic of Uruguay.
