Abstract

The author studies the Uruguayan species of the genus Geaster, establishing the presence of Geaster asper (Micheli) Lloyd, Geaster mammosus Fries, and Geaster umbilicatus Fries; It also indicates the main characteristics of these typical species of the American mycoflora.
