Miscelanea 67 (1980): Guía ilustrada de insectos comunes de Argentina
Keywords:
Insects, entomological guide, ArgentinaSynopsis
This guide summarizes the characteristics of insect orders and families for the entomofaunal study of Argentina and can also be considered a general entomology course. Consideration of all known insect genera and families is, of course, far beyond the scope of this work. Our general objective is to introduce biology students, as well as any reader interested in the subject, to the knowledge of insect orders and some families. The species covered were chosen based on their socioeconomic importance, or because they are more common in our environment, or because of their significant size. The work is completed with a brief glossary and a bibliography that cites the basic works broken down by topic.
