Abstract

?Some textural conglomerates from the Choya formation in San Cristóbal?. The granulometrical analysis of the Choya Formation conglomerates have been made. The conglomerates were deposited in braided streams. Morfological studies include shape, roundness, sphericity, size, flatness and geometricity. The correlation coefficient between flatness-vs-size is very low (?0,34). Relationship between flatness and petrography compositional is also low (0,27). The Choya Formation is considered equivalent to Ticucho and Piquete Formations (Pleistocene) on stratigraphical, morfological and lithological basis.
